How Is Broken Arrow Lodge Different?

Fish Up to 5 Famous Rivers

You’ve always dreamed of fly fishing Montana’s blue ribbon wild trout waters – and here, you can fish 5 of them!

The Ruby River flows right through our property, so you can fish immediately upon arrival. This river is a favorite of our repeat guests, but the Madison, Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Lower Ruby Rivers are short drives away. The Lower Ruby and Beaverhead offer larger fish and Chris, one of the area’s top guides, will help you catch fish that average 20″ on his guided floats!

Each of these rivers offers a variety of fly fishing, from dry fly to float and wade fishing, depending on the time of year.

Get Guided - Or Not!

Whether you’re a newbie who has yet to try out the sport, or you’re an experienced angler who just wants to be pointed in the right direction, our experienced Montana fishing guides are here to help.

We offer full-service guided wade and float fly fishing trips for beginners to avid anglers, as well as local fishing and river condition information before you head out on an unguided fly fishing adventure all your own.

Come Alone or Bring a Crew

Whether you’re looking for some solitude, or want to make a family or friendly affair out of it, we’d love to host you!

Participate in activities that fit you and your family’s fancy – such as horseback riding, river swimming and tubing, cookouts, scenic tours, and more. Or simply relax and enjoy the comfort of your room, home-cooked meals, and hot tub soaks.

Then, when you’re ready to fly fish, the Ruby River is a short walk from the lodge!
